me: well... i don't know about boyfriend per se... what's the stage before boyfriend?
colleague 1: i don't think there is one.
colleague 2: hang on, didn't you say you cooked dinner together last night??
me: yeah...
colleague 2: well he's definitely your boyfriend. cooking dinner together is an unmistakable sign of boyfriend-ness.

i was working away this morning when my brother from melbourne imed me:

i went up stairs, spoke to a few people... one guy asked me if I lived around the area, i said i lived just down at 219
he said 'hah! i dated this girl from 219 a while ago'
i said... what was her name? he said 'uh. star'
me: hrmmm.... "dating" is stretching it, i would have thought.
