out of sight, not out of mind

i was working away this morning when my brother from melbourne imed me:

him: i have a funny story for you.
me: okay, shoot!
him: i was on my way home from work
it was about 6 am*
and i was walking down the road, when two guys walked out of an apartment block
one said hey, so I stopped and we chatted for a bit
he told me he had some friends upstairs and invited me up for a beer. i thought 'why not?' and went upstairs
i went up stairs, spoke to a few people... one guy asked me if I lived around the area, i said i lived just down at 219
he said 'hah! i dated this girl from 219 a while ago'
i said... what was her name? he said 'uh. star'
me: hrmmm.... "dating" is stretching it, i would have thought.

yes, yes it was. it was vsg.

*i should probably point out that this is normal home time for my brother since he works at a nightclub
